Service Genius Home Care is a home maintenance subscription service that provides monthly care and maintenance for your home or investment property. We help maintain and manage the your home service needs. We also help prevent problems with our in-depth home equipment maintenance schedule to extend the life of equipment and reduce expensive repairs.

About the Subscription

How soon can I get service once I subscribe?


We schedule and coordinate your high-quality service for our subscribers as soon as you become a member. During your first and initial service, you will receive an existing condition report to learn what the existing condition of your home equipment and services curently are. This is meant to identify and inform you of potential problems that may soon arise or problems that may already exist. Think of this as your home getting a check-up at the doctor.




How often can I schedule home care service?


By subscribing to our home care maintenance subscription service, our job is to make life easier for you so that you don't have to. After our initial inspection and home check-up, we will provide you with a home maintenance schedule, so that you don't have to worry about scheduling it. We manage that for you. Our booking technology will contact you a week in advance reminding you of an upcoming home visit. We will also confirm your availability 24 hours prior to our arrival. Now you can sit back and enjoy the sunshine, let us handle the rest.




Can I add upgrades for additional service to my plan?


Yes, we offer optional upgrades for items such as appliances, water softeners and more. So when it's time to clean those refrigerator coils and drain your hot water heater, we will have you covered. Check out our Plans page for more information on the optional service upgrades we have available.




I own rental properties. Can my subscription be for my rental homes?


Yes, each home location and address will need its own subscription.




I am a renter, can I get this for my home?


Yes, with the authorization and approval of your landlord. Your landlord will need to sign up on-line and from there wil be able to manage your home care subscription.




Do you offer 24/7 service?


We offer 24/7 emergency service? But maintenance service calls and visits will normally take place from 8am-7pm. Our customer experience team is on hand to answer all of your questions and coordinate service Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM PST and Saturdays/Sundays from 9 AM to 5 PM Of course, breakdowns don’t always follow business hours, so in the event of an emergency outside of these times, subscription members can call for immediate assistance.




Is this a home warranty service?


No. We are a licensed home service company that provides high quality service for property owners.




If something breaks in my home, do I have to use Service Genius?


Not at all, we would hope that you would consider us to do the repairs, but as the homeowner you can choose to work with anyone you choose. You could even try to DIY...but most importantly...be safe and careful.





About our Technicians

Do your technicians go through a background check?


Yes, all employees and technicians undergo a full background check which includes a Criminal Records Search. As part of the Certification process, we use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search, in the state in which the principal/owner or relevant manager of the company is located, for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Sex Offender Search. Service Genius uses a third-party vendor to check the websites that consolidate state sex offender information.




Are your technicians licensed and certified?


Yes all technicians must go through all licensing and certification requirements accepted through the state in which they operate.
